About me
Dvora Zylberman is a Yiddish and Jewish Studies teacher at Sholem Aleichem College. She lives and breathes Yiddish language and culture, having studied Yiddish all across the globe. Most recently, she published “Mameloshn Alef”: a brand new book designed to help children learn Yiddish. A graduate of Monash University, she completed a Bachelor’s degree in Arts/Education with a major in Jewish Civilisation, and she has recently completed her Masters in Education (Leadership and Learning) at Deakin University. One could say that the Bund is in Dvora’s DNA. A fourth generation Bundist, she grew up in the SKIF youth movement and the community created by the Bundistn who came before her. Dvora is proud to be the Vice President of the Jewish Labour Bund.
